Inspiration: Country Lavender

Australian country weddings & glorious Lavender go hand in hand don't you think?

Unlike France, Bulgaria or China we don't grow lavender en masse in Australia, but it is easy to find boutique lavender farms dotted throughout country towns. As a relatively easy crop to grow, lavender is a versatile plant offering loads of reward to it's growers.

In this month's inspiration board I was delighted to explore various ways lavender could feature across a country wedding. Lavender offers loads of potential to not only make your wedding visually stunning but also beautifully aromatic. It is possible to feature lavender in your catering options, to incorporate it into your flower arrangements, or even to just adopt the shade into your colour scheme.

In Orange, we are lucky to have the Lavendilli-Blue Farm located only a short drive out of town in Molong.
