Inspiration: Country Classic

I met a lovely couple last month who are recently engaged and planning a beautiful winter wedding. They asked me to develop an inspiration board for them based around their chosen colour palette - french navy and cream.

Lucky for us they agreed to let me share it with you guys! I've dubbed this one, the 'Country Classic'.

They are working to a tight budget and want to handcraft the majority of the decor themselves. I thought using candles in mason jars and simple table cards would help them keep costs down.

Significant family members have passed on and they wanted to acknowledge their presence on the day. I suggested displaying favourite photos of their loved ones in classic frames. I love how they are hung by big bows in the photo above.

Lastly, they wanted inspiration for their wedding photos. They are braving the elements and having a July wedding on a farm in Clergate. It's going to be fresh! There are a number of wonderful old sheds scattered over their family property which will provide a great backdrop. Plus the old nearby railway track will make a stunning set.

Can't wait to see their wedding come together - they are beautiful people who will no doubt have a beautiful day.
