Inspiration: Country Chattels
One of my favourite things about this 'job' is working with antique and vintage furniture across a country wedding day. 'Chattels' for the purposes of this inspiration board, is defined as the tangible properties ie. wonderful props and decor that embody all things rustic and country.
Many brides and grooms are exploring incorporating eclectic pieces into elements of their wedding. Which means I get to have fun firstly sourcing these pieces, and then creating settings or opportunities for them to come together beautifully.
Some of my favourite 'Country Chattel' pieces can be found in the above inspiration board (all images have been sourced from Pinterest). Such as the vintage lounges used for bridal portraits, rustic drawers to hold cards or programs, timber crates to display florals or cakes, or classic frames to display photos of loved ones or unique signs.
I think my all time favourite pic in this board has to be the 'doily tree'. What a spectacular backdrop to a garden ceremony or party...
'Our Collection' is growing everyday to incorporate more unique pieces for DIY wedding hire. If I don't yet have what you're after there's a good chance I'm in the process of sourcing it!
